Prayer

 

Lord God, our Creator and Guide, lead us each day along your narrow path of compassion for our neighbors, near and far.  Hold us steady to your command that we must love our neighbors as we love ourselves.  You would not ask this of us were it not the ONLY path to true peace and justice among the people of this world.  Help us each day to fulfill the challenge of your command.  We would be your hands and feet in this time and this place.  Bless us this day.  Amen
